Monday 25th April marked ANZAC Day and Scouts across Aotearoa New Zealand were out in force to commemorate the event. Some communities had cancelled their services but some Groups/Zones planned their own smaller events like the Lower Hutt Zone. Six groups from the zone joined together to march at the Garden of Remembrance. Read more here.
Those who were away from home for the Long Weekend were welcomed by other Groups to join them.
