For a whole week during the July school holidays in Wellington the students are immersed in the fun world of photography. They will learn portraiture, lighting, still life and lots more to help them become a better photographer. Students will also visit and talk to other professional photographers.
National Scout Photography School (NSPS) is the only photography school of its kind in New Zealand for young people. The schools are open to Scouts and Venturers interested in digital photography. Guides and Rangers are also welcome to apply.
The next Photography School will be held 1st – 9th July 2023 at Brookfield Outdoor Education Centre Wellington
Age: The minimum age for the school is 13 years as of the start of the school up to 18.5 years.
Cost: $700 which includes accommodation, food, & materials. Limited camera & computer equipment will be available to hire.
