Western Bay of Plenty Zone Fun Day

Youth gathered in a circle at Fun Day

On Labour Day the Western Bay Of Plenty Zone held a Fun Day at McLaren Falls, Tauranga.   107 youth attend in their Kea, Cub and Scout sections.

Kea had fun with plaster of Paris art, a scavenger hunt to the waterfall, and UV detectors were made as well as nature mandalas.

The Cubs had a variety of activities from crossing a river to popping balloons with darts, as well as an orienteering course.

And the Scouts spent the day making catapults, bridges and even ladders from ropes, bamboo and poles.

It was a fun day out with smiles all round, check out some photos from the event below!
