Gang Show

Gang Show is a theatrical production put on by Scouts and Girl Guides. A Gang Show includes a series of items involving singing, dancing, and acting using a revue format. Cast sizes range from 50 to 200 (depending on the Show).
Gang Shows originated in London in 1932, and came to New Zealand in the 1950s. They have been performed regularly throughout the country ever since. We now have nine shows performing on a two yearly cycle:

- North Shore (even years)
- Auckland Central (odd years)
- Waikato (even years)
- Manawatu (odd years)
- Hutt Valley (even years)
- Nelson (even years)
- Christchurch (odd years)
- Otago (odd years)
- Southland (even years)
The best way to find out about getting involved with your local gang show is to talk to your leaders.
