It’s almost that time of the year again where we wear our Scout Scarf to work or school for the day (or wherever else we might be headed!) This is a great way to show our Scout pride and to let others know how awesome Scouting is! This year Scarf Day will be celebrated on Tuesday 1st August. Please see below
SCARF DAY 2023
On Tuesday August 1st, Scouts all over the country participated in Scout Scarf Day. Scarf Day is an annual event where Scouts get to show their Scout pride and increase the public’s awareness of Scouting. Scarves were worn to school, work, World Scout Jamboree, sports games, swimming pools, and other fun places! Scouts Aotearoa also ran it’s annual Scarf Day
LEADERSHIP WEEKEND 2023

Scouts Aotearoa held it’s annual Leadership Weekend over the weekend (8th – 10th September). It was a jam packed weekend with lots of activities, constructive conversations, and training sessions. There was also a formal dinner where this year’s Best Practice Awardees were announced and presented with their awards. A huge BRAVO to the 2023 Best Practice Award recipients…. Supreme Award:
African Rover Moot

E-Scout’s first Chief Scout’s Rimu award

On Saturday June 10th, the E-Scouts Aotearoa Scout Group awarded the group’s first ever Chief Scout’s Rimu Award.

From the 11th – 15th April 19 young people from all over New Zealand sailed and kayaked around various islands in the Hauraki Gulf and practiced their new seamanship knowledge and leadership skills as part of the ATL@S National School!
Rover Moot 2023

ANZAC Day 2023

On ANZAC Day, Scouts across New Zealand participated in dawn services and parades. Bravo to the Kaiārahi and young people who commemorated the day.
Coastal Otago Zone Tramp

Over the weekend 45 youth from across Coastal Otago and North Otago Zones went on a tramping camp. 11 youth did an advanced course and 34 youth participated in the basic course looking at Adventure Skills Tramping levels 1 to 3.
