With Aotearoa New Zealand more than a week into lockdown we hope everyone is doing well.
SCOUTS New Zealand is please to announce the week 10 Scouting From Home programme drop. This week we are featuring three new activities designed around personal development, adventure, and community engagement.
SCOUTS New Zealand is pleased to announce that the Week 8 Digital Programme is available for families enrolled in scouting. The programme features a nature walk, a care package, and learning New Zealand Sign Language. Going forward the weekly programme will be released on Saturday mornings.
Scouting is not closing. We are going digital to enable young people to connect during a difficult time. We are excited to be bringing you an alternative way for your young people to succeed and build life skills.
SCOUTS New Zealand will stay open as an online delivery service and suspend in-person group meetings.
The Government has announced a Covid-19 level two alert, asking for non-essential meetings to stop.
SCOUTing is continuing for its 12,000 youth members, who will keep learning via online meetings.
