Snow School
Our Snow School offers young people aged 13+ the opportunity to spend seven days at the Scouts Aotearoa Lodge at Mt Ruapehu, learning snowboarding, skiing, snow safety, and handy snow tricks.
It is a fun-filled time and attendees comment on how exciting it is to spend the time on the slopes and learning at the same time.
This year COVID-19 has meant that our borders are closed for the large number of overseas instructors that usually teach at Whakapapa during our ski season. As a result we will not have Mt Ruapehu instructors for the Snow School. In their place our experienced coaching team will provide the teaching and guidance for you.

Cost: $775 base fee for youth members (includes group instruction from Mt Ruapehu ski and snowboard instructors).
Lift passes, hire of skis, snowboards, clothing etc is an extra cost.
Next School: Unfortunately Snow School has been cancelled for 2022 due to no suitable snow for beginner and intermediate skiers and snowboarders to learn on.
Applications: Registrations for the 2023 Snow School will open at a later date
