Scarf Day 2023

On Tuesday August 1st, Scouts all over the country participated in Scout Scarf Day.  Scarf Day is an annual event where Scouts get to show their Scout pride and increase the public’s awareness of Scouting. Scarves were worn to school, work, World Scout Jamboree, sports games, swimming pools, and other fun places!  

Scouts Aotearoa also ran it’s annual Scarf Day photo competition where members were asked to submit a photo that fell into one of three categories. There were over 400 entries this year. Here are this year’s categories:

1. Random draw

2. Most interesting location

3. A non human wearing a scarf
