SCOUTS New Zealand is pleased to release our week 9 Scouting From Home programme to our current members. This week we are featuring:
- Baking (who doesn’t love a good biscuit)
- Shelter Building (why not camp inside in a home built shelter)
- Jamboree Over The Internet (JOTI)
The Scouting From Home programmes have been specifically designed to be done at home, or outside in accordance with the Government’s COVID-19 Level 4 guidelines for social distancing.
Use #scoutingfromhome when sharing your pictures on social media and if you use #scoutsnzpics as well you could feature as our picture of the week on instagram!
The Government has pulled forward the school holidays, they officially begin 30 March and run to 14 April. Please check with your local scout group to see whether they are going to continue to meet online during the school holidays. SCOUTS New Zealand will continue to provide Scouting From Home programmes through to 28 April.
Enjoy the programme, wash your hands, keep an eye on your inbox on Saturday mornings and most of all encourage your young people to have respect, do what is right, and be positive.
