On Labour Day the Western Bay Of Plenty Zone held a Fun Day at McLaren Falls, Tauranga.   107 youth attend in their Kea, Cub and Scout sections.

Coastal Otago Zone held their Cossgrove Course 16th – 18th September with 83 attendees. 

On Monday August 1st, Scouts all over the country participated in Scout Scarf Day.  Scarf Day is an annual event where Scouts get to show their Scout pride and increase the public’s awareness of Scouting.  Scarves were worn to school, work, the dentist, ski fields, at the pool, and other fun places!   As usual, Scouts Aotearoa ran a photo competition

The Christchurch Gang Show ran 13th – 16th July at the Grange Theatre.

On the 2nd of July the Upper North Island Territory held their Annual Swim Festival. It was a very successful event and fun was had be all participants and spectators

Shackleton Sea Scouts in Whangārei had their first group camp in over 22 years in May, staying at the Lions Lodge in the Tangihua Forest.

Jamboree On The Trail (JOTT) is an annual day for the World Scout Movement to hike together. All Scouts, whatever their age and wherever they may be in the world, are invited to participate in whatever way they can. In their own way, everyone will be hiking the same direction: towards a better future through Scouting. Keas and Cubs could visit

The 2022 Voyage took place late April/early May.  You can check out photos from their adventure on their Facebook page. 24 young people (plus an awesome crew) spent five days of glorious weather sailing around various islands in the Hauraki Gulf and practicing their new leadership knowledge and communication skills!
