Held over the summer break, we had another hugely successful Canoe School this year. 16 Scouts and Venturers, plus four adults, spent a week paddling the Whanganui River (approximately 125kms!).

More than 40 Christchurch Cubs recently enjoyed a two night leadership camp at Omaka – the first zone-wide leadership camp in four years.
The Greater Christchurch sub-territory held its annual Kon Tiki Raft Race over the weekend. 12 teams of 4-8 Scouts competed against each other to take home the coveted trophy.
On Labour Day the Western Bay Of Plenty Zone held a Fun Day at McLaren Falls, Tauranga. 107 youth attend in their Kea, Cub and Scout sections.
